Very calm and quiet place. Food was amazing but sloppy customers made the salad bar look gross. The staff was very friendly and although the price of the food was higher than other home style food places it was very much worth the money considering I had to take home the rest of my food. I would definitely come here again. ALSO THEY HAVE MR.PIBB

Great portions!! The meatloaf was good, but the banana pie was like 2.5 inches high. I was stuffed, and the prices are very reasonable.

Comfortable. Homey. Filling. Big smiley face. Great place to have a home cooked meal. Feels like eating at home without all of the work and cleaning. And, the food is spot on. I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. Gravy was amazing. Salad to start. Pie with ice cream to finish. So good! Just go.

I dined there this evening.9/6/23 I had the prime rib, baked potato and corn on the cob with the salad bar. The food was awesome. I live in Mesa, but I will definitely be back! And a BIG thank you to the waitress who served us. Happy Birthday ???? ???? ????! Virgo in the house!!!!! You were so sweet and awesome.

Don't judge a book by its cover. From the outside not so appealing but inside the food and service was excellent. The portions were huge by todays standard. My slice of pie was twice the size of most places. May 2024 We stopped again and had another fantastic meal. Good price and huge portions. I had to take the pie to go. Don't pass on the pie. When we come to visit our son at GCU we take him here for a homestyle meal. The waitress was super. 8.14.24

Best homemade countryside cooking in Phoenix and surrounding areas! Fresh free bread to die for. Best country fried steak I've ever had with amazing mashed potatoes and gravy!!

My family brought takeout home for me tonight and I just had to leave a review. I have rarely seen a restaurant take such care in packaging their food. This turkey dinner came Seran wrapped, with dividers to ensure nothing arrived soggy. My corn was even pre-buttered! If that's not enough to sell you--it was also absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend My Mother's enough (and as you can see, my dog feels the same!)

Best steak sandwich I’ve ever had hands down. Cooked medium and peppers were flavorful. Hats off to the cook.
